One of several illustrated Tacuina, the captions or text of
which are based on the Taqwim al-sihhah of Ibn Butlan, which
was unillustrated. The work is here associated with the House
of Cerruti because the coat of arms on the first page of the
ms. was identified by Julius von Schlosser, who brought the
ms. to the attention of scholars, as belonging to the Cerruti
family of Verona.
